Over 20+ years, I've learned that the difference between companies that scale and companies that stall is almost never the technology. It's the technical leadership — the decisions about architecture, team structure, process, and priorities that compound over months and years.
That's what I bring to every engagement. Not just technical skill, but the pattern recognition that comes from having seen what works, what fails, and why — across dozens of companies, industries, and growth stages.

Drove platform consolidation, M&A technical integration, and delivery transformation — with top teams achieving 90% sprint commitment, <1% defect ratio, and daily deployment cadence.

Progressed from Senior Web Developer to Director of IT across multiple companies, building and leading development teams for a major regional broadband provider and a national safety compliance organization.

Honesty Over Comfort
I'll tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. If your architecture is fine, I'll say so. If it's going to collapse at scale, I'll say that too — and show you how to fix it.
Building Over Advising
I still write code. I still review pull requests. I still architect systems. The best technical leaders stay close to the work — and that's where I do my best thinking.

I don't measure success by hours worked or meetings attended. I measure it by what shipped, what improved, and whether the team is stronger than when I arrived.
